That's LVSP in a sentence, style over everything else. It actually works well in the show's favor, but it does lead to the shortcomings in other aspects of the show.

I think one weakness of the VS is that they tend not to have anything for the current team to do, and mostly focuses on nostalgia from last years rangers. At least by combining it with the Returns, the current team can do wrap up on unfinished storylines.

I originally thought that it would have been better if the Pats killed the Don and then used the Lupin Collection to revive the Lupins.

On the other hand. I like how Pat 1 gets pissed that the Lupins went back to thieving and just decided to fight Red again.

Were the Pats taking the collection pieces during the year that the Lupins were MIA?

I think the implication was that Lupin Gen 2 were doing the thieving, probably in the hopes of rescuing the original Lupins via Dragon Ball.

While I can understand the neo-Lupin's taking the colors of those they were trying to rescue, a part of me wants them to have three separate colors (White, Pink, and Green) so that they could have an additional Lupin only movie with the seven Lupin's.

I absolutely loved this ending, I don't really have much to add, apart from the fact i love how the final collection piece collected is the same one from the opening, a nice touch i think

Only reason this episode didn't get a perfect score from me is due to the fact that the whole "DRAMA DRAMA" over killing Kairi and the gang dragged on for a bit too long. Other then that, great end to a great season! Also loved the hand-off with the new red stopping the old reds from pew pewing each other xD

Speaking of which, what are they doing a year later right before they're rescued? It looks like Umika is giving Tooma a haircut, and he's wearing some kind of covering that's different from his phantom thief uniform.
