Alt title - Izumi Rika strikes like a bolt

Last week's rating: 4.66 (12 votes)

Can we appreciate how great Izumi Rika is in this as Inari? And that BGM they have when she's on screen. Amazing!

Kind of a fast paced episode, but it's awesome to see Kuranosuke motivating the Ama~s and helping them win their nunnery.

There are so many aspects of this dorama that remind me of Personal Preference (a Korean drama about an architect who has to pretend he's gay to win an important contract). As someone else who's coming in fresh, I can't compare this to the manga or movie, but I really love it so far!

I have to admit, Kuranosuke isn't very convincing, so I have to laugh every time someone new thinks he's a girl. And I'm not sure it it's a typo or not (my knowledge of Japanese pronouns is limited), but at 26:42, Kuranosuke is referred to as "he".

On the flip side, I REALLY hate Inari, which is precisely the whole point of the character. Much like her counterpart in Personal Preference, she doesn't care who she tramples if it means success. I'm just hoping she also meets a similar fate by the end. It's always nice when you have a clear villain and clear hero(es), but also some characters who fit somewhere in between... and we already get to see that third party stuck in the middle of what may soon seem to be one son against the other in his mind.

Now I just have to wait a whole week for episode 3...

It's Been ages since I watch Japanese Drama and glad I started this one.....

Another typo I found (maybe) is at 06:49 When Tsukimi says They're Kurara teruterubouzu (The Translation is Kurakura teruterubouzu), but well, the overall translation is good... thx TV-Nihon!

I Watched The 1080p Ver

LOL, whoops. Translating this series is kind of melting my brain. Okay, I'll add that to the v2. Thanks!
