Pretty great episode. Tsukimi faces her social fears and Mayaya both deals with a bunch of crap, but also helps the group for once too. Also, we see now why Uchida Rio is playing Mayaya.

I busted out laughing when the camera pans up and Chieko's mom is the same actress. Sure, they look the same in the manga too, but when it's live, it's literally the same actress. Pretty good.

Hanamori being cool and weird as always.

The episode was extra long, but worth it. It looks expensive too, with all of Seto Koji's costume changes for mere seconds of footage. I overslept during the recording, so we nearly lost the last 20 minutes of the episode. Good thing you can fix the end timer as it's recording, which is what I had to do this week.

Edit: I kind of wish I had added a permanent italics or transparency effect to all of Jiji-sama's phrases. I think that it'd be pretty funny and fitting.

Totally didn't realize Mayaya was played by Drive's Kiriko until takenoko pointed it out. Just goes to show how good of an actress she is, she's completely different to the point of being unrecognizable (the bangs help too).

Still wish the dresses were a titch more jellyfish looking. They're cute but I don't immediately see them and think "wow, a jellyfish!"

Another great episode. This show has more than enough nuttiness to cut the soapy drama that I don't miss the robot cellphones, teen secret agents, yo-yo cops, Akiba troubleshooters, or student manga artists I usually look for in my non-tokusatsu. Thanks again for subbing this.

Side-note: Ive been trying to find a legit copy the @Deep movie for a good long time now with no luck...is there a system in place to re-support discontinued subs if the US retail version goes OOP? Just curious.

Is it out of print? I'm not surprised (I was more surprised to find out someone licensed it). It'd be nice if we could redo @deep from DVD into our new MP4 standard. Although we'd only be able to do that with the drama. I lost the script for the movie when I wrote over it by accident.

I'll see about reuploading the torrent to include the movie file.

It was a great episode, and the drama was keptt on a good level as well.
I wonder if they will make some change in the love triangle
