I dunno if this is Inoue's directing debut, but there's no writer and it's a clip show episode. I'm going to shit on this and say there's even less content here than usual.

After the last CM, there's a post credit scene before the preview that's essentially pointless.

As my timer was saying, he was hoping there wouldn't be a clip show since the series is too short, but apparently they want to hit all the bad amateur mistake branches while falling their ass out of this trainwreck of a tree.

I have to watch this because I have to translate it. You have your precious limited amount of life, so don't waste it if you can.

If anything, Rozan shouldn't have delayed. He should've shown evidence of Jinga's actions via his Makai CSI spell then show it to Fuusa and Kells.

Amemiya's just posting GARO artwork on his twitter lately. He should be alright or is the front-page pic about him in a writing/directing capacity for the franchise?

Yeah, more along the line of "Why is he not doing stuff on this show?"

So it's a clip show to prepare for the final. Considering not everyone watches the full show and just begin at the middle if watching on TV, it's always good to have one of those before a game changer.
A twist is that this one is the turning point of the show with Jinga being now on the wanted list and Amily being back. Feel like she's in the future by the way, which the hideout being covered in dust and web, and Jinga's sword being abandoned on the ground at the beginning.

Disagree. Unless they use a unique spin on it, clip shows are bullshit.

I did appreciate that they name checked 10 years (decade) and 20 years (Zi-Decade).

They wasted and entire episode just for a unnecessary recap and do a little build up at the end of the episode. Fuusa is now "ready" to take Jinga down.

What I still don't understand is the time line of this show. At the very first episode they told us that Jinga was reborn so this is in a way or another his second life but looks like he was reborn in a completely new family, with grey hair and was raised into a makai knight one more time?. Probably they are going to explain it all in the next 4 episodes and also tell us why Amily was not reborn as a good person too.

This episode tried to tell us that the good Jinga was just a fake or act all this time and that he was and will always be bad. Not sure about that because we saw how Jinga and Amily met in and that they were good person before the incident with their son.

Mmm, that was a bit of chicanery on takenoko's part, he doesn't exactly say "decade" just "10 years" buuuuut as it's quite likely that was an in-joke we left it in XD

10 years is a decade!

Nothing will ever beat the first season recap where it was just Zaruba narrating while Kouga was fighting on a train.
