Alt Title: Revelations??

Genuinely was surprised that Saden was Master Black though. I knew he was a traitor, but I didn't think he was actually one of the commanders on screen. This trick might have been more meaningful if Saden had done anything memorable previously or wasn't just a recolor of Uden...

Oto using Pteradon is a pretty good move, especially after damsaling her last episode. I wonder if that means anyone from the Ryusoul tribes can use the mechs?

Rest of the episode was alright. Hope the questions this episode raises lead to interesting answers. Like, where the fuck did Creon go after the start of this episode? Why are the Druidons led by the knight piece instead of the king piece? Are they ever going to acknowledge that Pricious and the Ryusoulgers are both technically knights? What exactly is going on with the Drudions? Where did they go, why are they back, what do they ultimately want?

I like how they're all "can they save Oto?!" on the sponsor splash and then she gets rescued like 2 minutes afterwards. Way to build up my expectations for nothing.

Speaking of expectations for nothing, what was with the Red/Pink vibe towards the end? They're not trying to set them up are they? Cause there's pretty much nothing going on there. You can't just shove a romance in the last 4 episodes if you didn't build it up the rest of the series (see: Kamen Rider Wizard).

I actually kind of like that if that's the twist, with Set being named after a god of death.

I'm gonna be that person, cause this is one of my pet peeves. The Egyptian deity Set isn't a good of death or evil, he was a good of chaos and trickery. Osiris is the lord of the dead. Set gets a bad rap cause he started being viewed as an evil god by the Greeks who conquered the land, but that was literally milennia after he first appeared.

Thought they were just gonna keep reusing and kitbashing suits for the new Druidons but nah, we got a new face here in Yabasword.

Last episode set up Saden being Master Black pretty hard, so I wasn't surprised by that. (Fun foreshadowing: Saden's suit is black with green accents). I do wonder why they chose to make him a recolor of Wuden, though. Or more accurately, why they made a suit for Wuden and then had him last all of 2 episodes.
I always figured the monster suits are... like, actually them. They might be decorated with armor, but that's flesh under there. So did Master Black hollow out Wuden and wear his skin? :^)

Not sure what Master Black's plan here was, though. He's friendly and apparently more than happy to help the Ryusoulgers, so it's not like he properly went full Druidon. He knew the RyusoulCalibur wouldn't be enough to destroy Heras, but didn't know that Calibur's power had weakened. If the Ryusoul equivalent of the Master Sword can't even beat Heras when it was supposedly full strength, what did Master Black think he was going to do on his own?

I felt more romantic tension between Pink/Black than I ever have from Pink/Red.

Whoever called the human heart in the card last week had it. It was obvious this episode when Green was all like 'Something's not right'.

Interested to see how this goes at least.

I liked this episode a lot! Them rescuing Oto in the beginning was cool because I thought for sure they were going to just do what the villain says with no resistance. Plus, I like how it gives a moment to showcase the trust between Koh and Melto, which they also give between Koh and Asuna later, reminding us that these three are suppose to be a close-knit trio.

Every bit of action was on point, and it was great to see DimeVolcano after so long. The biggest fun surprise to me was seeing Oto piloting YokuRyuOh. For me, this more than makes up for all the times she's been held hostage by the villains.

I'll have to wait and see how the Master Black stuff plays out from here before I know how to feel about it, but seeing Saden take off his whole head to reveal a person was just a liiiittle silly.

Is it as unbelieveable as the Kyoryuuger Red/Pink romance?

I love Kyoryuuger more than almost anything, and I even I think that Red/Pink was out of nowhere and stupid.

If they do it again, I'll be less mad because I don't care about Ryusoulger anywhere near as much.

I totally thought Oto was going to transform right then and there. Honestly don't know how I would've reacted.

Kamen Rider Wizard had romance before the novel?

Though if Set was secretly a villain, that would make some sense of the opening where he disappears.

red pink thing was not out of nowhere though in the beginning they were giving the vibe of red and pink teasing each other as childhood friends but it was not ventured in later episodes so kinda slipped into blur

They foreshadowed master black being Saden in the previous episode too much like how Bamba was getting flashbacks right after Saden was on screen or right after a flashback Saden was shown and heart card was a plain give away.

Every bit of action was on point

It was everything you'd expect from an episode Sakamoto was directing. 3 minutes in and we get an untransformed fight and a stuntie covering his face while getting thrown into a tree? Yep, that's Sakamoto directing.

So much of this episode is building-up to the next episode that I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. The king piece (Yabasword?) is just all-around weird. And I have to admit that while half of me thinks that having Oto flying a mech was a nice inversion of where the episode started, the other half of me is tired of her, and peeved that they didn't give one of the other Ryusoulgers (see: Asuna) a chance to pilot the thing.

The action is definitely on point though. Both the ranger stuff and the mecha fight were very well done. And Bamba's actor once more kills it while he's doing his own fighting.
