It wouldn't be exciting having to see him in budget meetings and the like every week.

I can't wait for Aruto to level up enough to fire his obviously evil vice

Since big evil in the last couple of seasons has always been someone in the opening credits who doesn't do anything bad for a while, would the vice president's humageer be a candidate for big evil?

Re: KR Zero-One 05 released
Nothing for me to dislike in this episode, even tho it wasn't a particularly outstanding one. I like how each episode is like the next step in Aruto and Izu's journey together. And this episode seems to be the start of Izu reaching the singularity.
It would break my heart if one day Aruto has to shut down Izu due to her being corrupted or something.
5/5

Complete. Start Up. 3. 2. 1. Time Out. Reformation.

Well she is dressed in red and oddly present in most episodes despite not having much to do...

Our subs call her Shesta or something, but the katakana for her name map to Siesta, which is what I call her.

Re: KR Zero-One 05 released
Plus the artist used several Humagears and wanted them working at their maximum output (shown when one Humagear ran out of battery). The debate isn't about a single Humagear helping in a particular job, it also extends to potentially mass-producing Humagears, raising further questions.ViRGE wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 1:51 am Past that, while the "lazy artist" plot is unremarkable from the standpoint of the artist, I thought it was interesting from a sci-fi standpoint. "What will humans do when they have machines to do all their work" is a time-honored plot for robot stories, and I've been expecting Zero-One to trot that one out at some point. The answer, of course, is that humans will almost certainly become lazy and unmotivated, and we see this episode essentially present that as the natural state of things before Aruto & co intervene. It's a very lightweight treatment of the subject, especially as the artist gets his motivation back for unrelated reasons, but I like to think this is one of the angles the episode writer was working from, rather than just being another "successful artist gets lazy" story.
On another note, I really liked that when Aruto used the wing key to transform, both the falcon and the grasshopper appeared, reflecting the grasshopper presence in all forms.

Re: KR Zero-One 05 released
I'm gonna say no way simply because that would give a girl more screentime and Toei wouldn't do that.

Has a big evil in a tokusatsu show ever been female?

For Sentai, we have:
> Denjiman
> Fiveman (at first)
> Zyuranger
> GoGoV
For Kamen Rider, we have:
Uh... someone help me out here. No joke, I'm drawing a blank.
For Metal Heroes, we have:
> Spielban
> Blue Swat
> B-Fighter Kabuto
I'm not as well-versed on Ultraman or Garo or other misc. toku but off what I am, we do have some instances of it happening. I do agree with Luna that there's, unfortunately, a low chance of Toei going for it more times though.

you say that, but then it turns out he's only as evil as the suspenders teacher in Fourze.

Re: KR Zero-One 05 released
This was a really weak episode. I'm finding it more and more difficult to look at the main rider suit. The highlighter yellow is painful sometimes. Looks like it was difficult to film too. :-p

Re: KR Zero-One 05 released
This was a slow episode but quite honestly, it was still good. Not every episode has to have some amazing revelation. And for a "filler" episode, it still entertaining. Better to get them out of the way now than have them slow down momentum later.
"Jin, you are my son". Hmmmm..that actual explains a lot. Especially considering how he acts like a child all the time.
I don't know about Showa, but we haven't had a female main villian in the Heisei era. Plenty of henchwomen but no main villian.

The first thing I thought of was Hedrian from Denjiman. And of course Bandora in Zyuranger.
