Officially the shortened version is "Kiramai Red" etc. That's what they've been using on merch, with Kiramager for the team. I figure go with that, as it makes sense.

I prefer kiramager but kiramei-. At least with kiramei- the kirame(ki) meaning is shown.

I mean, we didn't call the Abarangers, Abara (color) right? Because the name is referring to abare, and sounds like such as well.

I choose Kirameiger (...or Kiramaiger is also acceptable). The reason is, if it actually refers to "Mage" then why didn't they write the katakana as メージ (as in word "image" for example) ? Could it be that "Kiramei" or "Kiramai" mean something else?

Yup. Most modern Sentai always does end with er, most commonly -ger but Go Buster is -ter. Regardless it is still -er. Exception in some of the older Sentai are those uses -man, Battle Fever J, Go Go Five.

Because it's not a long vowel, it's adding the i sound to it. It's not Kirameejaa it's Kirameijaa
