Former Sentai Tie-ins

this is just my reasoning here but i think that based on the interviews that there may be some former super sentai tie-ins for the characters like maybe weapons/fighting styles or other things like that. for example

Green = Gekiranger: her track outfit has the Gekiranger logo and company name
Blue = Shinkenger: while is an actor he is playing a samurai
Yellow = Megaranger: He's a gamer and megaranger are chosen thru a videogame
Pink = GoGo V since she is a doctor and they were a rescue unit.
Red = no idea since he is picked in episode one

I think its ToQger too because red seems to be drawing something in class. Drawing requires imagination so Toqger I believe

you and me both + i just realized that this sentai might also be based on Kamen Rider Wizard... i mean with the magic stones and all. so it makes me wonder why i've never seen a dino rider and there have been 4 dino sentai i mean

detective: Double, DEKARANGER
time: zi-o, timeranger
magic: Wizard, Magiranger/kiramager
racing: Drive, Carranger/Turboranger/Go-Onger
animal: OOO, Jyuohger/gingaman/Gaoranger
Ninja: Shinobi, Kakuranger/Ninninger/hurricanger

i knew i was forgetting a genre and i named the ones off the top of my head so please forgive me. and to be fair i put drive in racing because he drives a car... no motorcycle here. but seriously so far there have been no dino riders and watching ep.0 i think kiramagers are closer to magiranger than ever i mean their finishing call out is way too similar...

found some more tie ins from episode 2, like the story gives a go-onger feeling right. also the manga is based on lupinranger i mean come on it looks just like them, i would say more on episode 3 but no spoilers... sry.

I think "Case Closed" thing isn't really a reference since it has been used in other Japanese media besides Sentai. Sure it has been used in two Sentai series but it's not unique to Sentai compared to SCRTC or the Lupin manga.

alright the manga was a dead giveaway... but you have to admit i am kinda right about the go-onger/magiranger/wizard fusion here

Go-Onger: trying to stop the enemy from making the world ugly/poluting the planet with talking zords that give them power
Magiranger: using multiple zord combos/magic...duh
Wizard: using magic stones for weapons

and i want to say the new stone in episode 4 is a nod to Den-O since the stone is a train/beast but i'm not sure if it works or it is a reference to Gokaiger/Zyuranger because of Gozyurex
