Alt Title: The fallout

Pretty good cool down for episode 6. We have the characters talking and having reactions and stuff. Oh and hey, Hyuuga knows where you live now Amou, you're lucky he's an honorable serial killer apparently?

Kuon, why did you rejoin the game? That really bothers me. I hope there's a good explanation for it, since Kuon probably wouldn't at this point unless they forced him to.

Enjoyed the moment of resolution and the song that sounded Garolike. Also Amou yelling at Kuon at the end was good.

But oh man, that last few shots of Hyuuga in the air and Kuon reacting is probably some of the funniest unintentional shit.

Prediction: The series will end with real Garo saving whoever's left in the game and all of this is revealed to be the monster of the week for a Garo series that we're not privy to.

BTW, now that there's only two extras left, we can figure out who they are.
-The rough bearded guy with the big blade is named Arashiyama
-The glasses guy with big lips is Umino Takeru. I guess we should have known he'd survive since he has a first and last name lol.

-What? That's a weird cm break... Why not put that scene before the opening and the CM break afterward like a normal person...

-Wow, the art department is so lazy that they use two of the same images twice on Nagsuke's wall

I was gonna say about the final shot of Hyuuga in the air, it was really funny-looking. XD I guess they didn't have time to reshoot, or their editor is weird.

Mystery email person is probably a real Makai Knight, also the two extra guys left in the game, although they're probably just there to die, it would be neat if one of them is secretly email-guy or something.

One thing this episode did well for me is Takane's creepy factor, the hush-toned Kouzuki Takane... Kouzuki Takane... stuff was great.

I laughed a lot on the final scene. Didn't anyone involved on the show noticed that it was funny?

Pretty good episode. I just kind of wish that Hyuuga vs Spider and Amou would have been longer and more drawn out, considering they hyped it from episode 2.

I enjoy the idea that Hyuuga is already really strong in real life so his video game buffs make him super OP. I didn't realise he'd be able to take both of them on at once.

Just to make sure there's no misunderstanding, Hyuuga says Amou and Kanata will be stronger in game, because they're too weak to fight them in reality. Of course Hyuuga is also stronger, but that's what that line was supposed to mean if that's what you're referring to.

Did they establish that? They established you'll die if you die in the game. You die if you quit the game while you're in the middle of it. There's nothing that says you'll die if you don't put the glasses on.

I got that. I just enjoyed the fact that while everyone else gets buffs to make them strong, he's doing spinning flips and jumping and landing on Amous head. Just shows that he's a legit threat. I had just thought prior to that he was some insane killer to make the game more interesting like that one character from battle royale, but he's on a whole other level.

Where do they establish that? What specifically are you talking about? If you mean Nagusuke's streaming buddies, one died because he was killed in game. The other died because he quit the game after logging into it. It's not like he said "Nope, not putting that on".

I think reading Kuon thinking Hoshiai was trying to kill him by making him not put on the glasses is like an impossible read on those two characters and their relationship. Kuon was distrustful of Hoshiai because of lady magic, but they don't specify specifics of what his reasoning was for not putting on the glasses besides doing the opposite of what Hoshiai said. Remember at that point neither of them knew the game was a death game.

I'm not sure how to answer that. I mean the things that were said during the conversations were pretty clear to me. Losing means death. Not playing means death. I'm not reading into anything.


Besides, if Kuon had a choice, wouldn't he like... Quit the game?

Guys... I think it's just a plot hole. A really BIG one. It's been there since the beginning of the show. I'm really enjoying the show, but yeah, they need more stakes and reasons as to why they keep putting on those damn glasses. I was a little let down that Amou's reasoning is "pride". I was totally hoping for something heavier and more personal. Hmmm.......
