so its been 10 years since Kamen Rider 555, who knew, so they gathered the cast and made some extra for an upcoming release

So we have Blu-Rays coming, I go look them up and almost have a small heartattack at the price

I'm picking up the W ones now. It's part of the reasons I asked for donations this month. We could always crowd source it

On the plus side, we have already re-worked the scripts, so at least that side of things is taken care of, just annoying the pull this out of their bag when we are so close to finishing off the series, but oh well

Maybe you guys should hold off on finishing Faiz till you have the Blu-rays. It'd means less time converting DVD scripts to Blu-ray format, plus it'd give the group some time to focus on other shows.

nah, 41-47 are in the QC stage, only 48-50 need work, might as well finish it, at least we can have closure on the project till the Blu's appear

Wow, nice of Toei to get the cast to reunite for a special feature like this. What I actually want to see is for Toei to have a better ending for the Faiz series. In my eyes, it never ended! It ended in a cliffhanger!

I have just one question: how can they justify that price? Is there some extra other than the disc itself?

Even with a crapload of interviews, backstage shots and stunts/greenscreen/ropes (like in the good old Garo) I'd still find that price absurd.

Well actually consider the market for this. It's going to be rather small. Also it's Japan. This is the same country who still puts out 2 episodes per Blu Ray for new anime releases for $70-80. So yeah the price is really nothing new to Japan compared to America and possibly other countries.

It seems overpriced, but it's a bargain compared to getting the DVDs individually. Not that Japanese DVDs/Blu-rays aren't overpriced to begin with...

And if W is any indication, the bonuses should be pretty nice. I haven't had a chance to check, but I believe they converted the bonus footage to be HD.
