Don't forget that Toei seems to be pretty unreliable when it comes to keeping masters. I've heard they lost or damaged a lot of saint seiya stuff for instance.

Well, to be fair that was the 80s. Watching the Star Trek TNG Blu-rays and seeing that they just kept the spools in boxes until an episode called for them to take a piece and splice it into a future episode was pretty amazing. Like how did they put all that back together, I'll never know.

If you want to talk about keeping masters, ask BBC about Doctor Who in the 60s. Toei is way better than them back in the day.
