Forum rules
First, check to make sure your file is complete by running it through RapidCRC or checking it with a torrent. If it's incomplete, the torrent will fill in the broken parts.

Don't use Quicktime, Realmedia, or WMP to play our files. Basically, they suck, and you're going to have a bad time.

Use VLC, Gom Player, or Media Player Classic with some codec packs installed.

Dekaranger The Movie

Hi there.. I wanna ask about the Dekaranger Movie
I wonder why I can't watch it.
I can listen to the audio but the video is just plain black screen.
I've tried to convert it to other format. On the formatfactory (program that I used to convert), the preview of the file shows that I can watch it. But once the process was finished, the resulting file was still the same, plain black screen.

Is there any suggestion I should do?
Anyway, I am using K-lite version 7.1 codec.

Did you check the crc? Read the threads at the top of the playback help forum first before posting next time

Hmm.... sorry. I didn't really know how to check the crc.
anyway, did u mean set the video to square pixel?
I've tried it. but still the same... :(

Checking the CRC would help us know if the file you have is corrupt or not. Try GOM Player or something.

How to check the CRC?
I've tried Media Player Classic. Still can't be played properly.
Actually I've tried 2 ways of download the file. Both by torrent and direct link. And both of them, got the same problem....

use rapidCRC to check the validity of the file

If it passes then your player is having an issue
If it fails then the file is bad and you will need to re-download the file
