What's the deal with Shibuya?

Because having more riders than a Sentai team can be good.

What's the deal with Shibuya?

Post by KRendBlade »

I get the feeling that there's a bigger reason for why the writers chose to destroy Shibuya, rather than any other city in Japan. I mean, I can tell that it's an important place just by the sheer number of shows that take place in or around it. But does it's destruction mean anything in the show? And what exactly is Shibuya famous for anyway?

I think it's just one of those Tokyo wards that's well known.

Weren't there a lot of staff from Sh15uya on Kabuto?

It's a pretty trendy place. If you've seen a picture of a cross walk with like hundreds of people crossing every which way, there's one of those in Shibuya.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the responses; it's been bugging me since morning.

I'd Imagine they chose Shibuya because it's incredibly hard to film there. Like Takenoko said, if you've seen a picture of it, there's loads of people. The only way you could have camera crew stationary in there is if you're on the roofs. They probably never intended to film there even before Kabuto was created. So I guess they just thought "Oh what the hell, why not?"

Feel free to correct me but wasn't Shibuya once the major Love Hotel district/main AV capital? Having it get wiped out by a meteor means by AV industry...
