God, yes. My beef with that particular plot point was the lack of any buildup in that direction at all. No, like, failed experiments aforehand. No Worm that was apparently disturbed at it's ability to turn into a big green pupa monster. Nothing. It was another case of "too many stories tacked up on the board in the writer's pit, not nearly enough episodes to do them all in." And it ended so quickly. Faiz was Orphenoch King this, Orphenoch King that for a long time, and it was a hellish fight the whole time. Not only was the big badass final fight over in the first half of the episode, but it was "Oh, by the way, you've rescued who you set out to rescue; Now you have to save the WORLD, since we spent a month of episodes with you whining instead of developing this plotline. You've got one episode left, so grab Kagami and go!"wingform84 wrote:Spoiler
5.) The ending to the series was so weak. Turning everyone into "natives" and all was a good plan, but it just felt so rushed, and reading what other people have said I think I'm not the only one to feel that way.
I wish the Native would have ever molted. I think it might have been interesting to see that, or to know why they don't do so.
