Can anybody tell me what Garo is about and what can I expect from it?

To be brief and concise, Garo is the story about a man named Saejima Kouga, whose purpose in life is to cut down these monsters called "Horrors". One day, during his hunt, he encounters a girl named Kaoru, and their adventures begin there.

Definitely a great series. There are some explicit content, but it's still an amazing series overall. Tons of action every episode. I do recommend it.

Also, just to tell you, the order of Garo is the first season, the special "Beast of the White Night", the movie Red Requiem, Kiba Gaiden, and then the second season (Makai Senki). There is also news on an upcoming movie, serving as an epilogue to the ending of Makai Senki, but not much has been revealed.

Yeah, in the Garo section, grab the batches named "Garo 1-18 DVD" and "Garo 19-25, White Night, Red Req, and Kiba". Then go for the Makai Senki batch if you're interested.

Sorry for double post, but I finally finished watching the first 5 episodes. I did not look up any pictures for this show as I wanted to be surprised, and I only went by you guy's brief plot summary.

GOD DAMN this show is awesome! Why did I not watch it before???

I'm so hooked I'm having to watch the enite batch in one sitting. I'm not gonna get any sleep tonight.
