Garo composers.

Post by Dragonfan »

Hello.

I' ve always been wondering who is the Garo's OST composer. I see names like Yoshichika Kuriyama, Hiroyuki Sawano, Terada Shiho, BUDDY ZOO (who the heck is BUDDY ZOO?) in some CD websites.

But if you like at Wikipedia, Shinji Kinoshita and Kōichi Ōta are the only one listed as a composers.

Is there a Garo composer or a bunch of them diferents for each part of the series (seasons, movies, etc...)?

The fact that the Makai senki OST isn't released doesn't help...

So, if anyone knows more information, I'd grateful if he/she could share it with the rest.

Apparently buddy zoo is these two guys: 太田浩一、木下伸司. It looks like the mysterious Oota Kouichi and Kinoshita Shinji are a part of Buddy Zoo.

But from the main Garo article on the Japanese wiki, I see Kuiryama Yoshichika and Sawano Hiroyuki: 栗山善親、澤野弘之

I know for the main songs, it's mostly done by Kageyama Hironobu and Kyomoto Masaki.

For Makai Senki, I see Kuriyama Yoshichika and Terada Shiho listed as the composers.

Okui Masami did the ending songs mostly

So Buddy Zoo are those two guys, interesting.

Do you know the composers of Byakuya no maju and Red Requiem?

And, just for trying, do you know if they are going to release Makai Senki OST anytime  ?

Thanks you!

I honestly don't follow the musicians, I only looked this stuff up because you asked. I imagine that Makai Senki won't get an OST release if they haven't done so yet.

Beast of the White Night is credited to Kuiryama, Sawano, Terada, and the Buddy Zoo guys

Red Requiem is credited to Kuriyama and Terada.

Edit: I have some good news and some bad news:
Garo Makai Senki Blu-Ray Boxset
(DISC 11)★「MAKAISENKI」 Soundtrack CD

Sooo... I bought these originally when they first came out. Discs 9-11 are completely new and only come with the boxset. Japan... kinda sucks a lot sometimes. This sort of double dipping is pretty disgusting.

So... You have to buy the Blu-ray box to get the OST. Damn... I don't even have blu-ray player XD. Well at least it is going to be released.

Thanks a lot for the information takenoko.

I think we'll probably pick it up for the cut footage. Feel free to send me a PM about it when it comes out in March
