Saban to Adapt Garo into New American Series

Well, this is interesting.
"Earlier today, Haim Saban, the man behind Power Rangers and a few other one-time things that didn't work out, has officially announced that he will be taking footage from the Hyper Action Midnight Drama series, Garo, for an entirely new American production. As you probably don't know, Power Rangers actually originated as [skipping over all the stuff about Sentai], making Garo the first non-Toei series to be adapted for the modern American audience.
Saban has also officially revealed the name for the new series: Wolf Knight--appropriate enough, as the title character of the original series is just this. Unlike Power Rangers, where new titles are created just a few years after their Japanese counterparts are released, Saban reports that no series would be skipped over in order to maintain the world-building.
Saban has not yet given the titles of each individual season, but rumors are circulating that the counterpart of Makai Senki will be dubbed Fanged Fury. He has also confirmed that the main character will “likely” be a teenage American white male, but beyond that he has not said anything further on the casting, characters or intended audience."
