Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have a few questions.
Forum rules
If you're using Peerblock, you'll need to add our IP to the exception list when torrenting.
We don't ban IPs, so if you're having trouble yet see other people downloading okay, it's probably on your end.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have a few questions.
I've been torrenting (and seeding) from this website for almost a year now, and have never been caught doing so. But recently Comcast had called my house warning of a 10k fine due to copyright, and I don't plan on repeating this again. Again, I've NEVER been caught torrenting from this website, and I wanted to know if it was still safe to do so?

Re: Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have a few questions.
Have you only been torrenting from this site? They're more likely to slap your hand for torrenting game of thrones or American movies, if you live in America. Did Comcast say what copyrighted item they were warning you about? I think they usually do that because of legal reasons.
As far as copyrighted stuff goes, Japanese toku stuff is pretty low priority I think. Not to say it doesn't happen, but the last real scare we had was back in 2009.
I can't promise that it's totally safe, but I think for us it's relatively safe because of that reason. Just be reasonable with your bandwidth usage. What I personally do is I use a Seedbox service. You can find several online and just pay a nominal fee to have them download stuff for you. Then you can just download those files from that service's FTP. That takes the danger out, because people can see your IP when you torrent, so the service takes the risk instead of you.
I'd love to hear from you or anyone else in this situation about the details though.

What seedbox service do you use? I'm interested.
