Torrents not opening automatically
Whenever I go to download a torrent from here, Firefox asks me what I want to do with it even though I've specified the torrent file type should just launch my client. Well, according to a Firefox knowledge base article here (http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/667290) it's because the tracker must be flagging every torrent as an "attachment" which overrides file type handling choices. (from the link: "HTTP header known as Content-disposition: Attachment") Is this deliberate or just some default that was left on? Could it be changed?

It was a deliberate design decision because the download script has to remake the torrent files and that header makes it so it will suggest the correct filename. I've just changed the header, so the behavior may have changed to the desirable one for you.

That's really interesting to know. It's now auto-downloading and opening, which is very convenient! Thanks for taking a look at this.

I reverted the behavior because it wouldn't allow certain browsers to download from the tracker. Good news is that an extension exists for firefox which allows the user to override the content-disposition.

Re: Torrents not opening automatically
Actually that add-in is just giving more options (like opening the torrent as a text file in-browser) and it's still popping up the whole "ok so you've picked a default behavior but confirm it and click this button" dialog. I don't see how I can configure it any differently, Firefox already knows it's supposed to just auto-open any torrent file with uTorrent and it doesn't because of that attachment header.
But, really this is not a big deal. If the webserver has to be configured that way then that's all there is to it.
