I'm very skeptical that this will result in any results, but I figured how can it hurt? If you're single and want to be messaged by forum goers here, please post to this thread any information that you find relevant. Nothing too personal please, let's try to stay safe as well.
takenoko's info:
Location: Northern California
Hobbies: Dogs, games, movies, TV shows, reading graphic novels
Age: Mid 30s
Looking for: A girl who enjoys similar things, enjoys random nerdy intellectual conversations, and my oddball sense of humor.
Maybe this is a terrible idea. But I figure that if I'm going to share anything in common with girls, it'd be the ones who come here, right?

If only the ratio wasn't 85/15 male/female for toku lovers.
And yeah, that's a pretty good guesstimate from the male/female ratio on our fb page.

You're not far from me, Shiki! ^_^
As for me, I got lucky. Even though I spent the day working, I have an amazing woman whom I got addicted to Super Sentai after showing her the live action Sailor Moon (she's always been a huge BSSM fan). We're in the middle of both Kyuuryuuger an Magiranger right now (ToQger was her first full sentai). She also speaks a decent amount of Japanese and memorizes all the theme songs within the first few eps. ^_^;;
But while I'm not in need of a date, new friends are always welcome, so...
Location: Pittsburgh area, SW Pennsylvania
Hobbies: writing; tokusatsu; totally failing to learn Japanese, French and Korean (not for lack of immersion); cooking; coffee; dorama and K-dramas; video games (PS2/Wii and older for console, adventure and other old-skool genres on PC, plus various android games); Doctor Who (I'm a canon-purist and anti-Moffat, mind you) and other lowbudget Briitish sci-fi classics; and most genres of music (especially those with classical undertones)
Age: late 30s
Looking for: people with similar interests; would especially love to work on my language skills with a native speaker... I tend to mesh better with women (I'm not into sports/cars), but could do with some male friends who are into toku
Thought of the holiday:
Why give a girl a box of candy when you can give her Goadom's Heart instead?
