Curry House, notable curry restaurant chain in California, goes out of business

A notable restaurant chain beloved by many voice-over artists who live near downtown Los Angeles or tourists who were in town for any event like Anime Expo, suddenly shut down.

While no reports have come up, twitter users provided pictures of closed locations.

Cypress location closed.

Cupertino location closed.

Gardena location confirmed closed by manager.

Little Tokyo/Los Angeles location.

Torrance location, with an active aquarium filled with fish.

According to laid-off employees, they didn't know they'd lose their jobs until they walked into the restaurant on 2/24/20. They're also pointing fingers at an investment firm called Food Management Partners, who bought the restaurant chain last year & has a history of closing unprofitable restaurants.
