That was me, but I no longer DJ for KNC. Use the dropdown menu on the side to see what I'd played there. I tried to run my own stuff online via winamp's SHOUTcast, but I missed the community. I'd really love to DJ if you guys do this. I'm for it 100%

Go for it. Granted, i'm probably not active enough in this community to even matter, but just about everything tvnihon does is rad, so this couldn't hurt.

I'm using SAM 2 broadcaster from spacialaudio, and before that i use Winamp with shoutcast for DJ-ing. just low the rate. so people with dial-up sitll listern nice n clear. for the server i guess using southcast better. or may be u need my friend assist? miss that time DJ-ing at internet radio. been 2 years i'm not doing it. For easy use, winamp+shoutcast for the DJ. and winamp to stream. SAM 2 (now already 4) is advance and pro look tools. but once get to use. it's so powerfull when DJ-ing. And yeah sure u can do Yahoo Messenger converence and stream it with both of them.

Power to the Hellsing Fans and to TVN! I knew this was coming since WME Forums is with Initial D World they both share the streaming radio station. Can I be a DJ? XD

Radio TN would be great to have! With regards to operation, I think Shoutcast would be fine enough. It could then be heard on Winamp, and even Windows Media Player and other programs which support streams (for the latter to work, the format should be converted to ASX though, but it's easy).

I don't have much knowledge with the AAC+ music format, but I did hear that it could play good quality music with lesser file size/bandwidth consumption. So if this is integrated, it would be even greater.

For those with limited bandwidth, maybe Radio TN could set aside a weekly podcast of a one-hour show packed with the latest news and info (a Q&A or trivia portion would also be great), music and probably even a countdown or chart of some sort.

Sounds like a cool idea. If you can though, please don't use skype. I have no intention of using it so downloading it just for this would be a bit pointless, no offence.

Isn't there websites to set up radio stations that you can listen to from WMP?

I think this would be a GREAT idea. I know I would be listening to it all day and I wont have to carry my IPOD around to hear my favorite music from my Toku and Japanese shows!!!


and Yes, typhoon. There is a website you can access via WinAmps website that explains how to stream your own radio shows. I know because I did it for about 4 years, a weekly show I did.

I might be able to help out a bit with the bandwidth by hosting a small server. Depends if I can get my secondary computer working again and if my roommates don't completely object.
