Re: How do you watch our subs?
It used to be stright on Youtube, then a few episodes were missing, or I couldn't find someone's channel that had done a good job getting them in the first place (all grainy and stuff). Now it's strickly Megavideo, mostly because Youtube keeps having to remove them... Now that we have our new Desktop, with HD, I'll probably be watching them here insted of my Laptop, AKA Shelia
I don't keep them. I watch it once, maybe twice, it's the MVs that I watch constantly, mostly because I pirate liberate the songs from online and add the subbed translation to my iPod

I use to burn them to a DVD but I've bought quite a few HD for work so now I just store them there. No wait. For "work". >_>;

I used to liberate songs form online, then I discovered Bookoff. Can rescue helpless CD's and sometimes new CD's to for dirt cheap and save them from a horrible life of collecting dust. Got Agito and Kuuga sound tracks new for 10 bucks for both. WIN! Got KR Next (unsubbed) with TWO action figures for $25 for a FB friend. BTW they have a load of KR and SEntai CDs for dirt cheap in Santa Ana Bookoff never been to LA's.Hyperwire wrote: I don't keep them. I watch the MVs constantly to if they are good. Like W's opening, though that one has vanished off my computer. Probablly accidently deleted to make room for more shows. Even though now I am certian I've watched most of TVNihon's live action selection three times or more over. 0_o Yeah I really lack a life. Kind of stuck on what to rewatch right now though.

Well, I usually go for torrents for weekly releases, when the download speed is good. Otherwise, I go for DDLs. Either way, I archive all the episodes I download. ...Well, except for Faiz; way too confusing for my taste. Though I'll watch it again on DVD versions to see if I'll have a different viewpoint.

just did a search and couldnt see anything for our releases
Although surprisingly, I was going to ask if people used usenet for downloading and would people like our releases uploaded there,
It maybe old school, but its the most secure way of downloading, no record of what you download and done over SSL, such good times.

My computer <3 me, I can now burn DVDs. YUSH! So you can add that now that things have changed.

Re: How do you watch our subs?
I'm in the same boat. I've not had the best luck with external hard drives: the one I'm using to back stuff up on at the moment is one that's prone to random data corruption, replacing stuff with weird files & folders named as random characters, and when I open those folders it actually brings up a duplicate of the root folder again - I right-click on the drive and go to properties, and stare in amazement as my 250GB hard drive apparently has 2...3...4...5TB of stuff on it and just keeps on climbing!gnomekingofpain wrote:I stick the episodes on an external drive until there is enough to fill a DVD and then make a burned backup. I don't trust hard drives they all fail eventually...
I was getting a lot of use out of a 320GB external that I could plug into the TV, then watch whatever I had stored on there directly through the TV. Great for quickly watching downloaded stuff on something that wasn't my computer, but all of a sudden that packed up as well...

Direct Downloading....then i burn them to DVD and have a copy on harddrive as well....for collection
Re: How do you watch our subs?
Truth is that external HD is not THAT cheap around here yet. And lend a HD is not a option. With DVDs is easier to share with friends and potential new "consumers" of the TVNihon's releases.takenoko wrote:I'm surprised people still burn stuff away. A 2 tb external can be gotten for under 100 bucks nowadays

At where I live, I don't think 2 tb HD has been sold yet (so sad )takenoko wrote:I'm surprised people still burn stuff away. A 2 tb external can be gotten for under 100 bucks nowadays
My current External HD is only 500 gb (which is only 465 gb when you look at it's total size on My Computer), which I bought last year around $90 IIRC

Re: How do you watch our subs?
I've been watching ur sub on my 32INCH LED HDTV.I'd stocked ur sub on a 1/2 TB HDD and play it with the built-in mediaplay and the video look awesome as if its Full HD although it just SD.
