One just disappeared off the face of the Earth and never returned, so they had to replace her.

I suppose that's one story; others being that she had a pay dispute, or that she became pregnant, or that she didn't quite like the role compared to her Metal Hero gig..

Honestly, no one's completely sure what happened and I'm not too sure if Yuki Yajima is ever gonna confirm what did.

If i had to say what i think could have happened, i would guess she either was an unpleasent person to work with and was fired, there was someone on the staff or the cast that was unpleasent to work with and quit, or she just decided she could not handle having to do weekly tv shows.
the one thing I am inclined to believe for sure is that she had a bad enough experience during filming to make her decide to quit filming altogether, but honestly, this is all guessing. Honestly, i am shocked this hasn't happened as often as it could with a franchise like sentai.

Contracts have probably been altered to prevent such occurrences from happening again, or it was an isolated incident. Either way, all we can do is speculate.
