Akaranger/ Go Rangers

Post by Varhammer »

Does anyone know if the series AkaRanger/ Go Ranger has ever been fansubed and released?
I only remember seeing on a local station in San Francisco a very very long time ago.

The dubs back there were rather bad but it was better then nothing.

Does anyone know if TVN is going to revisit the old series?

Thanks

I think you are referring to the Dynaman Dubs that aired in the 80s, it was the only Sentai to be broadcasted on the US at that time.
As far as I know, there is no fansub of Goranger.
But I recommend not asking if TVN will take on the show. >.<

Old stuff is bad, lolz.

But seriously, I remember my coworker telling me about watching dubbed Sentai back in the old days. It's how they did things back then, so oh well.

Personally I'm not very interested in it. It'd be neat to see the first sentai series, but it's also a very long series. I don't know how the rest of the staff feels about it. If someone volunteered to translate, I wouldn't stand in their way

Thanks for the information..
I think it was dubbed but I could be wrong.
Maybe it was just subtitled..
Used to play on Channel 20 on Sundays.
That was out here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I do mean long time ago.

I didn't know it was a long running series.
It would be nice to see some of the old shows from my childhood.

Thanks

I remember it from long ago as well. It is a long series. I have the whole thing. Copies of the R2... 14 dvds, 82 episodes.

I think it's funny to watch the older series and compare them to today...
