Every sentai from Zyu-now is fansubbed though, with the exception of GoGoV and Timeranger.
I don't think it has to do with subs though. Given Saban Brands' influence, they're covering the shows that were adapted into MMPR then it'll have to be shown if they still go in order from then on. Personally, I hope they skip Ohranger and do Car instead but, [/shrugs]

That was a fun little stream they had. I think shout factory has found a business model that's going to work for them. What's odd, though... is they're still printing to dvd. I suppose duplication and packaging are so cheap now, that's where they are turning a profit. That is, until finally they get down and do some remastering work... or they'll get japan's bluray release sources trickled down to them with the licenses they're currently using to garner interest via streams and dvd sales.

That's right - they won't catch up for 20 years, and even longer if they go back and do the first 15 seasons. Also, Saban would never let them all the way to the end, because once they get three or so years away they'll have caught up with Power Rangers.

Don't get me wrong, this is great. But I'm concerned they're not going to even bother with anything before Zyuranger, leaving something like 779 episodes out in the cold.

They'd really only need to do Jetman. It's probably the deepest of anything pre-Zyu.

These DVDs come out in two weeks! Also, Shout Factory TV is going to stream Dairanger that following weekend, on the 22nd. They announced the Kakuranger DVDs during a Zyuranger stream in January. Do you think they'll announce the next Super Sentai English-subbed DVDs during that stream!? (pulling for Jetman DVDs or Gokaiger Blu-Rays, but it'll probably be Ohranger DVDs).
