What do you prefer?

My gut instinct says weird greens, but I dunno. I like KyouryuuGreen and TOQ-4 too.

But weird greens are so fun. Don from Gokaiger. Sen-chan from Deka. Etc.

Aloof/standoffish greens?

While I liked KyouryuGreen and his character growth, it was balanced out with the goofiness which was Ossan/Kyouryu Blue. Really I don't mind Green being more serious and aloof than being silly and goofy as long as the team balance/dynamic works...

That side, Sen and Doc tip the scale to goofy for me. After all, this *rubs his pants* is Sen's thinking pose. *yes I know I mixed them together, relax*.

Aloof greens for me. I feel like Toq-4 got the right balance between the two though, trying to be tough but when he got goofy (detective episode) it was great.

If the greens were more like Toq Yongou, then yes, that. Hikari was an awesome character, one of my favourites in recent sentai.

I like both types. Maybe a slight edge to goofs, but I'm not particular to their colors.

I like both, but "weird & smart" is one of my favourite character types, with Don and Sen-chan being two of my favourite Sentai characters.
(On the other hand, Hikari and Souji were probably the best characters from their respective series.)

I think the aloof quality works better for the Blue Rangers. Green doesn't really strike me a a color for anyone to have the "cool" standoffish quality. If that makes any sense.

My favorite Green is probably Daigo from Dairanger, and he was... a little bit of both? He rescued women and children a lot, but had plenty of goofball moments (drunk on tofu, fighting cursed dolls, etc.). He wasn't as goofy as Shouji, so I guess he was the serious Green type. I guess my vote is for serious. Nothing but love for Sen-chan and Hakase, though.

I actually really enjoy both, it can be nice to have that tonal shift from series to series. My particular favourites are GokaiGreen and TOQ 4.

currently watching ToQger(ep. 20) and yes, i agree. Hikari is a good character so far. agree as well with Monsoon about Daigo, he's bit both.
well, for me i vote aloof. coz i think Sen-chan & Hakase also have a bit of that (Sen when serious).
but a funny green is also ok

I dunno if I think Daigo as either aloof or weird. He was just a serious guy. And when you have serious guys, the natural thing to do is to put them in silly situations, like drunk tofu. I don't think that makes them goofy. Akashi from Boukenger is this sort of character too.

Greens are just generally my favorite team members, whether they're motivational or relatable, and everyone's already mentioned the best ones from both categories. I answered weird because greens will always have that something unique about them that makes them noticable.

I look forward to seeing how Tusk grows as a character.

who is this? he's the only Green I don't recognize.

I'm torn because you need a good balance of both. Hikari was aloof, but he still cared about others and so did Souji. It really depends on whether or not Green is second in command because once you number a ranger, you kinda put them in a certain roll. For me like both serious rangers in goofy situations and goofy rangers having to step up. I want to see more aloof greens and blacks because we've not seen so many in the newer Sentais, unless they were black like Agri and Gunpei, which are meant to be more balanced.
