Just finished GekiRanger, need suggestions :3

Loved it, it was my first sentai btw. I'm watching Shinkenger too (around episode 45 I think) but that one's about to finish.

I was wondering based on the fact that I've enjoyed both Geki and Shinkenger, if you guys would recommend me other sentais. I'd deeply appreciate it.

I really loved Go-Onger; and I'm on Quest 28 of Bōkenger; I'd recommend Go-Onger (mainly because I actually finished it); but GekiRanger vs Go-Onger is pretty lulzy to watch.

Sentai seasons are usually themed similarly every other year. So you'll have a more story-based season with fantasy themes and animal mecha one year, then next year it's season closer to reality with more machine-like mechs, then the fantasy season again, and so on. You (like me) seem to prefer the latter, which means your options are:

Shinkenger (Currently airing but very nearly over)
Gekiranger (Watched already)
Magiranger (My favourite and first Sentai, I think you always have a soft spot for your first though)
Abaranger (We haven't subbed it so you can't get it from us, but it's out there)
Gaoranger (An older, animal-based season, a great season even if the main villains are a bit meh)

I would also recommend starting Goseiger when it begins in February, then you can watch it along with us and discuss it with other people watching for the first time. It seems to follow the same pattern as the fantasy-based seasons as well, but we won't know for sure till it is released. Oh and it is written by the same writer that was behind Gekiranger, so there you go.

If you want to check out a season before you start watching it, supersentai.com has a dataabase of information on each one arranged by date of release. They do include spoilers though, so be careful.

Gekiranger was my favorite sentai....well ever and a hard act to follow, but I suggest either Magiranger or Dekaranger.

I'd say Deka and Magi are about the same as far as quality goes. Magi has this really cool family dynamic that you don't see a lot, while Deka is a really fun show about a bunch of cops. Honestly I say just watch 'em all.
