Actually, I am really interested in he series. I, personally despise SHSS only because of two reasons:

First: it was made by DIC, and shown on channels now owned by- wait for it- Buena Vista Entertainmant.

Second: It stars one of the Lawrence Brothers. I like Tim Curry's portrayal of Kilokahn, but I hate the people who play the heroes, mostly because they are social-casts, and the villain is just a whiny little Retch.

Gridman looks cool, but we just don't have the time to work on it.

If I could I would sub it, but I have no idea how to do almost any of it.
I could probably QC if I had some training.

Gridman is actually kind of average. I checked it out because of Super Human Cyber Squad nostalgia, but I'd have to say it didn't really do anything for me.

Now this brings back memories, SHSS and MMPR where my first toku. I remember them fondly then again I'm probably just looking out from nostalgia goggles. I'm actually curious about SHSS progenitor Gridman.

One: That's because Tsubaraya did it in the same style as their 'Ultraman' series.

Two: Studio Trigger is doing a Gridman anime short.

Yeah, I loved watching Super Human... I think the monsters were pretty bad-ass considering the time period it was made and the demographic it was aimed for. I was telling a younger friend about this recently who never heard of it and he was quite impressed with the monster designs so then my husband and I started blathering on about how great the show was (great in a bad way). Yeah, I would have to agree finding some decent subbing would be good.
