What would you say/write to a toku staff member?
Whether it's to a company like Toei or an individual writer/director or some other staff member, who would you write to and what would you say?

They only person I can think of would be Sanjo, and I'd thank him for breathing life back into Rider with W after it stagnated. Also liked Kyoryuger a lot so give him props for that as well.

Re: What would you say/write to a toku staff member?
Oh, gosh, as nice as it would be to let Kobayashi-sama know how much I appreciate her characters, if I had one shot to write something to any Toei exec and know they'd actually read it, I'd probably try to write towards whoever makes the final decisions of toy pacing in the show. Or, hell, toy production person in general. I'd want to let them know that they need to take a step back and question how their production schedule is affecting the integrity of the show, and consider whether it's worth sacrificing the genre. It's a little preachy to basically go "are you in this for The Art or The Money" but the reality is, too much of one is a death knell and they need to (re-)find the balance. Right now it feels like their only concern is $$$$ and it's really hammering the nail in the coffin.

... Since I honestly cannot think of a real question can I just write a letter to Urobuchi asking how I can praise him harder and how better to spread word of his works? ... maybe a sneak peak at Thunderbolt Fantasy season 2?

Re: What would you say/write to a toku staff member?
I'd write to Kobayashi-sensei about Amazons and how she deconstructed the Kamen Rider narrative and its tropes, what parts of Resident Evil did she use for said show, how she was able to integrate some dramatic elements from the anime she composed scripts for on to some of the tokusatsu works she was involved in, how was it like to work with Gen Urobuchi when she was in Blassreiter, could she ever work for a Ultraman/GARO Project production, or if she may return to do another GARO anime.

I'd write to director Miyazaki Hidetaka and ask him to make a Berserk video game.

Oh I know. I'd probably write to someone whose work I don't like (Kaneda Ryuu, Komura Junko, Inoue Toshiki) and I'd probably ask them in the politest way possible to explain the thinking that they put into their work and how they would potentially improve it.

Re: What would you say/write to a toku staff member?
In terms of the folks behind the scenes, I guess I'd most like to talk to one of the costume designers, particularly those that design the mecha. I don't really know much about the writers and directors that everyone else has been talking about, but as someone with a background in art and generally working with my hands, I can certainly appreciate the amount of work that must go into designing and building those suits. From that leaked Dairanger footage, we learned that the suits at the time were made out of a material similar to wetsuits. I'm sure that they use CAD of some sort now to design everything and probably some 3D printing for assembly (for sure, we know that CG is used instead of models for the combination sequences), but I wonder if the assembly process and the materials used have changed that much in the last 25 years?
(At 1:41:01, they mention the suit materials)

I would certainly like to write to Takadera Shigenori and get some insight into the Hibiki production and what could have been. I'm very curious how much input the producer has on the designs, as Toku shows are very driven by the toy companies.
If i wanted to be an ass i would write to Inoue Toshiki and ask why he never writes cohesive stories xD

Personally, I would write them to keep the good work and to not pay attention to those always-complaining-about-something-guys.

Re: What would you say/write to a toku staff member?
I'm talking about the fact that, since Kyouryuuger, people are always complaining about the current show, while saying that the last one was better. Beside, judging a show that just began is pretty stupid, especially if it's only the fifth episode over fifty, which is why this happen in the first place.
