Fourze and OOO Mega Max 720 version

Post by demonninja »

I hate to be picky but the 720 version is SD style blurry. The 1080 version is fine but I don't have 5.1 audio so that version is distracting for me so could you guys please release a version 2 of the 720 one. Thank you for your hard work m(_ _)m

Yeah, some other people have mentioned that in the movie thread. I suppose I can reencode it, just give me a few days.

If this is an option, you can just take the stereo track from the 720 version and add it to the 1080 version using megui's muxing function.

I was going to put some screenshot of the blurry scene and very-blurry scene, then I read the main page and YAY :D . I think I don`t neet to do that anymore.

Anyway I also realize the sound like this guy mentioned in the movie thread
dancercotillion wrote:The audio on the 720 version was funky. Some scenes, very quiet. Others sounded kind of clipped, they were so loud.
But that can be solved with increasing & decreasing volume at the player. Any idea how this can happen? Is it because I played it at my laptop, which has no 5.1?

I'm not convinced that there is a problem with the sound. You guys aren't using quicktime player or something which plays both tracks simultaneously, are you? It should default to the stereo track in normal players.

LOL no. I use Media Player Classic HomeCinema, which I install from K-lite K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 8.8.0 (It is Mega), and I believe it is the latest so far (updated just last week, because when I watched boukenger, the video is broken here and there. It turned out I choose the wrong filter for Xvid)

Okay, Az suggested changing an option when encoding the audio, so let me know if the reencode sounds better (when that's released)

Okay. Btw, you pointed out that maybe the sound problem comes from my player plays both tracks simultaneously, but I believe that is not the case. because I never have trouble watching Accel Return which I believe have 2 tracks at its video (normal + commentary). Maybe the trouble comes from something else. anyway I will let you know once I download the v2. Thanks

Just finished downloading the v2. And the video looks awesome. the bit rate is twice as it used to be. I haven`t re-watched it yet, but by a quick look I didn`t found anything wrong with the sound like v1, so yeah.

720...isn't that the SD version? ...No, wait, that's the 480, though I've been able to watch 720 in the past on youtube with no problems...

Dude, how many threads do you need for talking about your HD problem?

Dude, I wasn't talking about problems with HD (my actual issue was being able to watch the new file format being suggested for new SD releases), I was commenting on the fact that I've seen videos on youtube that are at 720p that work fine, so I'm just saying I was curious as to whether or not he was watching SD or HD at first when he mentioned the numbers. I'm not exactly tech savvy, you know? So the numbers are something I still don't immediately think about when I hear about SD and HD. I just think of SD as the old broadcasting style and HD as the one for the new digital TVs, not the number of pixels or whatever the p stands for.

Nope, no bullshit here. Just a guy who doesn't pay much attention to the technical aspects of technology. Pun not entirely intended.
