Re: To all the hard working people here at TV-NIHON
Was going to start a new thread for this, but thought maybe it'd be better to continue here rather than clutter up the board. I just wanted to say thank you for subbing the way you sub and continuing to do it that way despite the people bitching for you to change to the way they prefer. After reading a thread on another forum essentially condemning the way you do subs, I just wanted to speak up and say how much I enjoy the way you do it.
One thing specifically I wanted to note, was your using -tachi in the subs, rather than replacing it with something else, since it's something I've seen mentioned negatively several times. I really appreciate this, personally! I've been watching anime and Japanese shows/movies frequently for over ten years and have been very happy to pick up what little Japanese language understanding I can from them with the help of subs. I'd never seen -tachi in subs before your releases and was at first a little confused, but I quickly figured out what it meant and was happy to add it to my knowledge. I doubt you do this specifically to teach anyone Japanese and I know there are more effective ways to learn the language, but I really find it cool to be able to just pick up these things from watching the shows when the subs include these words.
So again, thank you for what you do!

Thanks!
I really don't mind people criticizing the use of "-tachi", my goal is not to please everyone.

Canceling all of your shows? I hope this is someone's idea of a joke (if it is, it's a very bad one).

Re: To all the hard working people here at TV-NIHON
I am very new to the TVN forums, but I have been watching your subs since I first got into Sentai when Gekiranger came out. Now thanks to you guys I have widened my horizons and have started watching Kamen Rider, all the newer sentai's and even starting to watch Tomica Hero Rescue Fire (if i n get the first 11 eps or so d/l, lol). Thanks again for helping to turn me on to Japanese shows such as these, and many more to come.
