Yeah, this is Liner_Form when sneaking to tvnihon.com during work and school; don't want my main account to be spotted >_>

I changed it back when I was at work and had nothing better to do.

So you have an alternate account, to avoid being spotted, then you say who you are in your sig?

It's only a temporary sig, so that board people can recognize me on my other account. Besides, I think the people who ratted me out are too lazy/stupid to check things like that ^_^

What about enable the member to change their own user name, it will save time by make new account. What ya think?

And if everyone just runs around changing their names all the time it'll make things difficult knowing who is who and generally just be annoying.

Just wondering since I've looked and either I can't find it or I'm just blind.

Is there a "Mark all as read" option somewhere? I thought I saw it on the old forums but for the life of me can't find it here. Thanks.

It's on the forum index page under the last forum "Underbridgetopia" on the site. It's a little link in the center that says "Mark forums read". You can also find it in takenoko's sig.

I don't see a major reason for the name change option, as almost everyone here doesn't need to. I only use that other account maybe once a week anyways, so no big deal.

And besides, it only takes about two minutes to make a new one.

Yeah, I don't see much of a reason to allow users to change their usernames. It could complicate things in the future. Like say if I were to change my name, someone else could change theirs to my old one and that would probably cause some confusion. With 800+ users, it would be much worse.

I dont think that allow users to change their usernames is a good thing. And with this i mean "NO, we dont have to give this option"

Another thing i "hate" are multiple accounts. People with two accounts, sometimes, [not everybody does this but a lot of them do it] use one of them for trollin, harassin, say things they dont have the balls to say with the 1st nick. All of those arent tolerable behaviours IMO. So, please have ONE nick.

I agree with Q. When people ask me to change their nicks, I just go ahead and do them. I'd rather have one account with various nicks than one person with multiple accounts.

Yeah, trolls really bug me as well. And what do you mean by "one account with various nicks." Doesn't every account only have one nickname? (assuming that's what it stands for). I don't understand the difference between multiple accounts and multiple nicks.

If you have various nicks, you will still have the same ID. Also, once you change your nick, anyone can take your old nick

And so does that mean I can change my name "Liner_Form", but anyone can be Liner_Form once I change?
