KR Kiva feedback
At 15:50, where Kivat-bat the 3rd is explaining the portrait of Jeanne, the painter's name is written "Moderiani". The artist's name is actually written as Modigliani (Amedeo Clemente Modigliani).

Episode: 1
Time: 16.25
Reason: It's not "I envy women", I think he said 同じ男なのに, not 女なのに, so I think the translation is supposed to be "He's still the same man, but he's so cool!".

He doesn't say anything that sounds like "otoko". It sounds like onna and it looks like you left out jyoukyou.

Kiva episode 2, 06:39
It says The kanji for "Oto is "sound"
Shouldn't it say The kanji for "sound" is "oto"?

Opening
Walk in the stage, just GO!!!
sounds a bit more to me like
Walkin' the stage, GO!!!
But don't take this as a huge change, since the single will be released in a month. Just my opinion after listening to it a lot. <_<

Kiva HD?
Hi, good job on Kiva so far! Thanks.
Btw, did you know there are Kiva episodes online with (1280x720 H.264) so I was wondering why TV-N Kiva episodes are 704x396?
Thanks!

Re: KR Kiva errors
Takenoko, the cameraman is a male. Tsugami is a male too. So the cameraman is saying that different males have different styles, and he wants to be like Tsugami. And yes, I tried to listen to the part many times and it's otoko.takenoko wrote:He doesn't say anything that sounds like "otoko". It sounds like onna and it looks like you left out jyoukyou.

Re: KR Kiva errors
Ok, so listening to it again, I do hear the "onaji otoko na no ni". So basically he's saying how different they are, even though they're both men.

Kiva Subtitles font
When I watched the first episode of Kiva, I wonder, I personally a little bit difficult to catch up the subtitles. I compared the font used as the subtitle font for Kiva with Den-O & Ultraseven X and it's a little bit different (actually these 3 series used 3 different subtitle fonts).
I preferably like the ones in Seven X & Den-O. It's well shaped, easy to read...Technically that type of fonts were called Sans-Serif fonts (like Arial, Tahoma, Verdana)... but in Kiva, the font used is Serif font (like Times New Roman, Century), which is harder to read on-screen.
I think this aspect can be improved. I don't have any problem with font used in the opening and ending song in Kiva.
I watched Kiva until ep. 10, it's worth to say that the subtitle for 1986 scenes is better than the one used in 2008 scenes.

Re: KR Kiva errors
Haven't we established by now that Jirou's werewolf form and everything related to it are called Garulu, not Garuru? I know "garuru" means wolf, but I'm sure the people who name stuff in this show have their reasons, though I admit I still don't get "Saver" over "Saber".

Re: KR Kiva errors
I think Garulu is retarded and arbitrary. Why would it suddenly go from and r sound to an l sound?
A magnum is a gun. A saber is a sword. A saver is not a weapon.

A saver is great for when you're typing up a long document, that way if your pc turns off you're not screwed! =D

Re: KR Kiva errors
As I said, I'm sure they have their reasons...on the first count (also, Garulu sounds cool). I already said I agree with you on the saber/saver bit. However, it seems rather arbitrary of you not to use the official Romanization for the former case simply because you don't like it. The fans have a right to enjoy the most accurate translation of the show possible. And lastly, you went with Basshaa over Basher, why not Garulu over Garuru?takenoko wrote:I think Garulu is retarded and arbitrary. Why would it suddenly go from and r sound to an l sound?

Re: KR Kiva errors
Because Garulu is arbitrary. I can't think of any explanation for why it would be romanized like that. The fans have the right to not endure Toei's bad translations when they make no sense. I think you agree with me on this point, since from your argument "Garulu Saber" would be an acceptable translation? I'm just taking it another step
As for Basshaa, a magnum is not a melee weapon, so why call it basher? Plus that's not how it's spelled in the official name
