Che! ????

I just watched Shinkenger episode 40, and I have to ask, Akumaro says the word "Che!" in response to Doukoku's interuption of his plans. (At 16:45 in the episode)

What does it mean? I can guess the context, that he's annoyed or something - but why not just translate it? Usually good choices are made on what words are completely translated or not - but, something like this, it just leave me with a question mark over my head and the need to come here asking what it means. The same thing with Ah Mou. You might know that phrase, I now know that phrase - but it's immensley easier for everyone if it's just translated like it usually is as "dammit".

This isn't a big critisim for me, as I've always loved the care and quality that go into the dubs - but I just felt I needed to voice my opinion about these little things. So I'm by no means upset - just curious why it can't be simpler, especially for words as easily translated as this.

Though I don't think people look at it as a real word, more of a sound.

Think of it as a more refined "Tch" sound. There's really no translation for it. It just conveys annoyance.
