No offense didn't we say PS3 and XBox360 not PS2? How the heck you can stream videos to a PS2. I said I watch all my videos on my xbox360. Didn't someone said that H.264 is also MP4? Geeze read the posts more. -.-

PS2 has Simple Media System, tried it once but it was confusing so just used my Xbox instead(which is IMO better than the PS3 as plays more formats once Media Centre is installed)DarkKiva wrote:No offense didn't we say PS3 and XBox360 not PS2? How the heck Media Center can play more formats. I had to use transcode to play my avis and mkvs

Voted Xvid because I watch most of the T-N stuff on my Wii (homebrew app) and if you'd go for h. ... i'd be forced to stay on the PC .
My Copyright Infringing folder with random assortment of ripped Kamen Rider SFX is found right... HERE.

Re: SD versions: Xvid or 264?
I prefer the Xvid version to the 264. I like to put the files on a jump drive and plug them into my standalone DVD player. I don't like to watch teh vids on my PC for two reasons. One: I would rather have my pc downloading stuff. Two: if my DVD player burns out, it's about $50 to replace it. If my laptop burns out....'tis a tad bit more pricey.
I am really not all the bothered by the resolution difference. You can only tell if you have a hi-res tv or monitor...and I haven't got one. Plus for saving the series the xvid files save space and more eps will fit on a disc.

Re: SD versions: Xvid or 264?
So you want an inferior version for backing up? If they set the encode to target the same visual quality as that XVID version you hold so dear, it will be smaller... and if they set the encode to target the same size as that XVID version you hold so dear, it will be of better quality.
How is this an option?

I strongly voted for 264!!!!!
cant afford to download such huge file sizes for a 24 minute video!
i want a small size but great video quality
cant u do it both? so no one will complain... hehe
