Mostly likely check if you have the right audio stream selected (the first one).

What video program are you using that it plays all the audio tracks at the same time?
Use something else. GOM player, VLC, WMClassic, etc. These should all properly handle multiple audio tracks.

Why don't you go watch the movie and see. And if we didn't, why shouldn't we have included the audio?Aeikozz wrote:question. did we sub the commentary? if we did that's awesome. if we didn't why is it being included with the film?

Since this is linked to on the front page I'll say it here.
Unless you have QuickTime Pro and are using QuickTime Player 7, this problem affects all versions of QuickTime Player (including X). So if you're a Mac user and enjoying QuickTime's H.264 hardware decoding of TV-Nihon's HD releases then you're out of luck. Just use VLC or MPlayerX.

Man, people still use quicktime? What are people going to say next? That they still use realplayer?

Anyone still using realplayer needs to be shot, that was a horrible format with so many openings for trojans it wasn't funny.

Re: Audio problem: Kamen Rider Eternal movie
I don't see the logic in cutting out options for people just because some people insist on using a broken video player. I mean director what's his face is popular to Power Ranger fans (I think?) so maybe they'd find it interesting to hear that and catch what they can.
If you insist on using quicktime, write to them and tell them their program is broken. That's all I can say.

Re: Audio problem: Kamen Rider Eternal movie
QuickTime is pretty bad on Windows, as are Safari and iTunes, but it's much better on Mac OS X. It's actually a core part of the OS and a lot of programs depend on it for encoding and decoding audio and video. It's even better if you install Perian, a QuickTime plugin that's sort of like the CCCP but for QuickTime.takenoko wrote:Man, people still use quicktime? What are people going to say next? I'm not complaining. I know it's Apple's problem that I need to use the more power-hungry VLC to watch some videos. It's one of only two problems I have with QuickTime X, the other being that inbuilt editor is terrible compared to the one in QuickTime 7. At least I can have both installed at the same time.takenoko wrote:If you insist on using quicktime, write to them and tell them their program is broken. That's all I can say.

Re: Audio problem: Kamen Rider Eternal movie
you could also (if your on a Mac) download Handbrake and use that to convert the file, and selecting the track you want. the resulting file will only have the audio track you selected
