GOOGLE DNS
preferred DNS : 8.8.8.8
alternate DNS : 8.8.4.4

OPEN DNS
preferred DNS : 208.67.222.222
alternate DNS : 208.67.220.220
AFAIK DNS is address translator, it won't help giving you an access to blocked website, especially if it blocked by your ISP
you should try like hidemyass.com or anonymouse.org/anonwww.html instead to access blocked sites
or you can look/find for proxy (i am not guarantee it will work too)

the alternative way (maybe the best) is to find fast VPN
because your connection will always going and coming from VPN, instead blocked sites

The easiest way for a lazy ISP to block a site is to add a fail at the DNS level. Change your nameservers and the "blocked" sites come back. I've seen this used a few times; and if people who are in that country are saying it works, then I'd guess that's what they're doing here.

I am currently in China but have access to facebook, youtube and so on. I do because I use a VPN. I suggest you pay for one as well and keep your full access to the internet that way.

From Malaysia too. Currently using Google DNS and blocked sites are accessible. I recommend this method for those who can't afford to use VPN. BTW, just wondering. Does using Google DNS causes a reduction of download speed? Cause nowadays the download speeds are getting slow for some reason. Just wondering. :?

I'm from Malaysia, and yes this is a DNS block, can be solved by using a different DNS. I'm surprised how many Malaysians here, is TS a Malaysian?

PS; Take, you slip in an extra "a" on the front page :P

Yeah...it can be resolved by using public DNS...
but occasionally, i found that the speed of download is greatly reduced

For example: From 180kB/s to 30 - 50 kB/s...

At some times...it is fast...
For me, it is in the morning...so, check yours...

We will definitely find a way.....
Everyone is subarashi...Thank you TV-Nihon

I would honestly suggest uploading to http://www.multiupload.com/ That site will auto upload your file to Megaupload and others, and not all of those sites are on the OP's list.

A DNS block is easy to overcome, but it won't be long before they figure out how to do IP blocks :( It's a sad day when freedom is compromised in the name of fighting the bad guys, or whatever.

we dont allow multiupload links as we cant control the links within it, plus some of those services rename files which is against the rules as well
