How did you pick the name for the group?

My question is the topic. Reason: I just wanted to know because it's easy to figure out where most fansub groups got their names from, but yours is the only one that left me thinking.

I mean, it's not really that hard to figure out. We sub Japanese TV shows and Nihon means Japan in Japanese.

I thought Japan was Nippon in Japanese...

I though that Nippon was Japan(the country name)
and Nihon was Japanese(the race name)
so nihongo would be japanese language (instead of Japan language)

It's seriously just an alternate reading. Both Nippon/Nihon is the country name
