Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
Kinda looks like Dynasty Warriors but with Kamen Rider skinned over. I know that's kind of a generalization, but you can't deny the similarities.

Just buy it from an online retailer.
I'm having a blast with Accel at the moment. He is the only rider in which I find both his normal and ultimate forms enjoyable to play as with distinct styles. Booster form is kind of useless, but his normal square combo is really good for cleaning out mooks, and Trial is great for getting points from comboing.

Sorry for ignoring chat again. I need to remind myself to peek in from time to time. I just kind of lose myself in the game and forget.
Trophies earned since last time:
Edit: Fixed the links for parts g and h.

Got through the game over the course of a weekend on my twitch channel.
It's great fun, though granted, it's not an especially deep experience.

Bugger it. I wasted money on the premium edition for nothing then. Is the set up similar (assuming you have it), where you can put three songs in for a setting (normal battle, rider boss, monster boss and team fight?).New stuff from last time, I grabbed my Rider music collections and dumped them on my ps3. So this time, there's custom music that plays (In one of the parts I show how to set it up. You can basically set up the music to play under certain situations)

Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
Yeah, it should be the same for both versions I imagine. How does the premium version work?
Assuming I have it? How do you think I've been recording the video streams.

Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
Magic. No I meant assuming you have the Premium Sound version.
It's got a section for picking the custom BGM and the selection of songs that they included for the game, and then what scenario you want to use it for. My real gripe is that they don't go for very long before switching to the next one.

Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
Ah, I misunderstood. No, I have the cheapo regular version.
So is the included music set or can you rearrange them?

Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
You can rearrange the songs, but there is generally only two songs per series (One for Kuuga, 3 for Wizard). Also, when you go into whatever mode R2 triggers, the song will change for the duration of the ultimate form (but will just be the chorus looping over and over really).

Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
I really like the recreations of the final episodes and the ending transitions. I get the feeling they're actually respecting the history with this.
I have to say, I don't know if you can do anything about it but the chat could be pretty distracting at times. I also have to say I don't think One World really works in fight scenes!

Part 3a Struggling Fourze http://www.twitch.tv/takkynoko/c/2467070
Part 3b Unlocking OOO http://www.twitch.tv/takkynoko/c/2467094
Part 3c Dr. Maaaaki! http://www.twitch.tv/takkynoko/c/2467108
Part 3d Switching to Normal Mode http://www.twitch.tv/takkynoko/c/2467114
Normal is way too easy, but hard is way too hard. I kind of wish there were an inbetween mode.
I think that I'll need to do some grinding between streams just so I'll have more of a variety of abilities to display.

Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
It is kind of level dependant. When I got Accel to around 30 I had to switch to hard. It can be character dependant, Accel is pretty boss with his normal combo. I had to wait some more levels before not getting dicked with Kabuto.

Re: Kamen Rider: Battride War
I just got Kabuto's avalanche attack and it makes for a pretty unstoppable combo.
Found out that the best way to take care of those enemies from Ryuki that jump up and land behind you is to turn around and attack them as they land. The window of opportunity isn't long before they hit you though.
Kind of wish the memory pods weren't there. The green ones could have been replaced with generic people models, and the red ones could have been mini bosses.
