That's a pretty good deal considering the free games you get throughout the year. It'd be like paying $30 for Dragon's Dogma today, as well as getting whatever else they put out over the next year.

It was mostly Gamespot, Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon that had the deal. I pick one up earlier today and use it when my current run ends sometime next month.
