Just bought Darksiders today - would recommend. People are always comparing it to God of War and Zelda, but I'd say it's more like Soul Reaver 1 i.e. lots of exploration, combat and puzzles, great boss fights, and so far a deep story line. I've seen a few reviews that say the first hour is the worst, and I've really enjoyed that! Bloody exploding demons destroy my life bar though.

Finished Darksiders, really great game! It was just starting to get repetitive as I headed for the final boss, so I think it's also paced very well. Definitive ending and a little cliff-hanger to get me excited for Darksiders 2. I played a little bit of Infamous and I can tell that's going to be a really fun game, GTA crossed with Spiderman 2. But right now Dad and I are playing Uncharted 2, my 'Last Gaming Purchase????!!!!!ONEONE'. The beginning is fantastic! If the quality of the game keeps up like that I can see how it won game of the year!
