How do people play with a controller? I just tried using a controller for pc and it was so hard. HOW DO YOU GUYS DO IT?

Depends on the controller. If it's xbox, you can just download the drivers from Microsoft. For PS3 or PS4 controllers, you have to install an additional program to work as a go-between. Google and Youtube will have your answers.
