I'm pretty sure I already said this somewhere in this topic, but I'll say it again so everyone can see it. Feel more than free to distribute these on other sites just as long as you give me credit.
Oh shit, I just realized I left off R.O.B.
EDIT: Fixed.

Does anybody have pics of Zero Suit Samus's alt colors? I haven't been able to find any, and I'm curious.

They're not all that impressive anyway. Re: Brawl Countdown Calendar
I have never played any of this series. I was thinking about if I should get the wii version or not, since I don't have anyone to play it with.
Is that game more fun if you had someone to play with instead of cpu?
Maybe I'll pick it up when it becomes one of "player's choice."

Re: Brawl Countdown Calendar
Super Smash Bros. is the most incredible series of fighting games you will ever experience...IMHO. I definitely think you should get it. CPU opponents can be pretty difficult, too, if you set them to level 9. I myself struggle against one and can barely hold my own against two (and that's when they're NOT teamed against me). I'm not the world's best player, though, and I know there are people out there that consider it a breeze to beat three level 9 CPUs teamed against them. Also, the game is full of features for 1P if you get tired of standard Brawls with CPUs (although the game supports online play). The Subspace Emissary is a fully fledged adventure game in its own right, and there are several smaller events for fun (most also include a co-op mode, an improvement over Melee), such as the Home Run Contest, Target Smash, Multi-Man Brawl, and Classic Mode. Oh, and there are Masterpieces, which are demos of the classic titles some of the characters came from. There's just so much in this game it's surely got something to appeal to everybody.
To whom it may concern (probably nobody, since printing out another version of the calendar less than 2 weeks from release would be silly), the DOJO!!-only calendar has been updated. Significant gaps are, of course, where other characters will fit once revealed. http://www.maj.com/gallery/Drago11/Avat ... ntdown.jpg

Re: Brawl Countdown Calendar
Ah, there's online mode and if I am correct even a co-op online feature as well? Maybe I can play with someone from this board huh?
I am intrigued now.
Drago11, in the older series do they have subtitles for cutscene or something like that? Probably not, but since it's a fighting game, I guess I can tolerance it.
And why do they fight against each other? To save the universe or to see who's best? I find that funny. Mario vs Zelda...lol.
I know I am not good at fighting game, but as long as it's fun then it's okay.

Re: Brawl Countdown Calendar
I can answer that. They don't talk. All they say are grunts, except for the Pokemon in which they say their name. There's only a few phases said here and it's usually the taunts and when "said" character wins. For Marth and Roy, they say something when you use the counter attack successfully. And there's crowd favorite, where the leading character gets their name shouted by the crowd.Silentwolfdog wrote:in the older series do they have subtitles for cutscene or something like that? They fight each other cause Nintendo wanted to make a fighting game with their characters? XD And I too suck at fighting games, but as long as it's fun, I'll play it. Out of all the times I'd play Melee with my nephews and cousins, I only won 1st place once. One of my cuzs was like, "omg, she won." Not in a bad way though.Silentwolfdog wrote:And why do they fight against each other? To save the universe or to see who's best? I find that funny. Mario vs Zelda...lol.

Re: Brawl Countdown Calendar
Yeah, any dialog in a Smash Bros. game is just decorational. Characters may shout a catchphrase here and there, but the game works the same without it. One of the amazing things about the Subspace Emissary is that, even though it's a full game in its own right like I said, it unfolds with no conversation, because actions speak louder than words. As for why the characters are fighting? In SSE it seems to be a tournament (before things get heated up), but in the games themselves the most we can guess is that Master Hand is manipulating them somehow based on the intro to the first one. It's a fighting game, it doesn't need a plot, it's just a great way to duke it out with your favorite Nintendo characters.
I'm sure there are many people here (myself included) who would be delighted to fight with or against you online .

Re: Brawl Countdown Calendar
Yeah, Super Smash Bros. doesn't really have a plot. You just fight a preset order of opponents for the "story." Although sometimes, the final boss is significant to the character, ex. Mario fights Bowser. But no, we just like to fight! XD
And what perfect timing, Silentwolfdog, I just connected my Wii to my wireless! Maybe there should be a TV-Nihon fight night, that would be awesome! XD I call Ike
