Major Gaming Month; What are you looking forward to?
Well, March is definately a huge month for games this year with a ton of popular games for multiple consoles coming out (both here in the States and around the world!)
Are there any games you're looking forward to getting?
For me, I've got the final game for the dothack (.hack) series, .hack//Link for PSP (which I'm getting...even though I still don't own a PSP...nor do I understand a ton of Japanese characters. XD ) and Pokemon HeartGold (my younger brother wanted to get SoulSilver) for the DS.
However, there are other games on all of the systems that look interesting, including the newest Final Fantasy game (which I just won't be able to get due to the fact that I don't have a PS3) and downloadable games like Mega Man 10 (my brother will likely get this one as I suck at platformers)
So, what games are you looking forward to/preordering for this month?

As much as I want to get Soul Silver, I doubt I;m getting it at the moment, with Uni work and all.

For me, it's definitely Final Fantasy XIII.
And not just a major gaming month, I would say a major gaming quarter as I can add Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno as some titles that I looked forward to.

Re: Major Gaming Month; What are you looking forward to?
It actually came out the end of Feb, but I will not have it for another week or so...
Rush Rally Deluxe Edition for the Sega Dreamcast.
No, I am being serious. Yes, really. For a system someone declared dead almost a decade ago, it does still occasionally have a new game released, and this one is gonna be amazing.
Sega All Star Racing falls into that "end of last month" category too... I expected a cheap Mario Kart knockoff, but it's seriously better than Mario Kart in pretty much every possible way.
Dante's Inferno is looking like a wet dream come true too. I am really looking forward to getting my hands on that title. On 360 or PS3 it seems like a good bet for a winner.
Samurai Showdown Sen has my attention. I am not positive if it is a game I will be in lust with (and actually have me play less Street Fighter IV) or if it will be a huge disappointment, but I am anticipating it with rabid impatience.
MegaMan 10. Enough said.
House MD comes to the Mac this month too. Yes, I really am watching that release. I greatly look forward to laughing at Mac owners for having an option to own that pile of p00p, just as I laughed at other platforms earlier. Good TV =/= a game that should ever be made. But I look forward to pointing at that game the next time some Mac owner tries to tell me that Macs don't get viruses... proof even the Mac can have infestations of evil plaguing them.

FFXIII, hands down, but I'm more likely to wait for either the price to drop (which will probably take at least a year) or see if I can find a better price.

The PokeWalker that it comes bundled with might help with your lack of time. All you have to do it just carry it with you during your day and the Pokemon that are stored in it will level up like they were in a daycare. I thinks it's a pretty cool idea for busy people who aren't serious about competitive battling. It also lets you catch some Pokemon that you won't encounter in the Heart Gold and Soul Silver.Leonite Rider wrote:As much as I want to get Soul Silver, I doubt I;m getting it at the moment, with Uni work and all.

Re: Major Gaming Month; What are you looking forward to?
I'm getting FFXIII but I dunno if I can be qualified as 'looking forward' to it. The linearity and general lack of anything one would expect from a Final Fantasy in terms of scale and design due to 'time constraints' is ridiculous - almost as much so as their excuse of "But making expansive environments in HD is hard D:" Yeah, it is. Mistwalker seemed to do just fine though, huh.
HG/SS is definitely on my watch list though.

Looking forward to XIII. I'm planning getting it on PS3; however, I don't have a PS3 yet but will eventually. I think I'll get the game later on though.
Go Soul Silver! I admit, I never played Red/Blue/Green/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Yes, I started on Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. My parents never allowed me a gameboy. It was only until 2007 when I brought myself a Pink DS lite. Why Soul Silver? I want Lugia. XD

You get Lugia in both games, if they're like their originals. Lugia's higher level in Gold than in Silver.shadowneko003 wrote:Looking forward to XIII. I'm planning getting it on PS3; however, I don't have a PS3 yet but will eventually. I think I'll get the game later on though.

I'll be picking up both FFXIII and Soul Silver, though the main reason for Silver is that my girlfriend is getting Gold and needs help filling out her pokedex
