Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition.

Does Chapter 1 of every Final Fantasy begin with your soul being crushed?

I've just recently gotten into the Yakuza series after having 0 untouched for a few months. It's good cathartic fun.

I am currently addicted to PlayerUnknown's Battleground, my boyfriend won't help me to kill the enemy. He just let me die and play on my own even though it is a collaborative work.

Completed 4th playthrough of Prey 2017, with the Survival Mode options turned on. I died once, killed by a Poltergeist. Went nuts with Neuromods but only installed 90% of human-type mods and only one Typhon-type mod, Kinetic Blast I. Set Talos-1 to self-destruct while escaping with survivors.

Mooncrash?? Maybe.

Do the new survival options add anything to the experience?

Played the base game at normal with Survival Mode.

AFAIK, a eh copy of Fallout's Hardcore mode. Weapons degrade, will jam but will not be totally destroyed. When flying around Talos-1's exterior or be in non-oxygenated places, in the event that your suit's integrity level is damaged, air will leak and you'll need to grab all those small oxygen tanks floating around or get to a oxygen station. The extra traumas like bleeding, concussions and fractures are bad but manageable because one can get fabrications for their cures.

Unfortunately, as I've found out playing Mooncrash some hours ago, not only is Survival Mode always on, chances are, I won't be able to fix a trauma or two. And Mooncrash is rougelike hard.

Let me know if it's worth it. I looked at the DLC, but decided not to jump in blind since the price was too high for an unknown thing.

Take-san, finished Prey: Mooncrash.
Spoiler
-The Roguelike difficulty and item placement isn't overly harsh, despite being advertised as harsh. So long as you know what you're doing, you'll be able to clear the entire thing.

-Your very first playthrough is with Andrius. To unlock the other four characters (Riley, Vijay, Joan and Claire), you must complete certain objectives.

-Dying has no penalties, it only delays the completion of all objectives. If all 5 characters die, the simulation will just reset.

-The Corruption Level will increase. If it hits level 6, the simulation will crash and you'll have to do your playthrough over.

-Every playthrough, regardless of escaping and/or dying, will give you Sim Points for you to spend for new weapons/tools to start with. Obtaining Sim Points is easy: kill enemies, grab lots of fabrication files for any and every item, escape with any path.

-You may need to leave stuff behind for your other characters if you want to maximize their chances of survival. You will also have to remember where you left them behind.

-THAT MOON SHARK...

-To complete certain objectives that may be unreachable for certain characters, start with the characters that will make it accessible for. I.E: there are some rooms in the game that cannot be entered because the doors malfunctioned. Joan can fix said doors.
It's an alright game.

Octopath Traveller. It's nice. Invokes a similar feeling to the Romancing SaGa games.

Tacoma

Post by takenoko »

From the makers of Gone Home and Minerva's Den, here's your latest foray into the snooping simulation... in spaaaaace.

I can't ever really get enough of going people's things and piecing together their stories as I uncover clues about their little lives. While I enjoyed the experience of Tacoma, it felt a bit more gamey and linear than Gone Home? Maybe it was the 90s setting of a home or the darker secrets, but the experience of Gone Home seemed a little stronger.

Still, it was on sale on PSN Plus so I definitely feel like it was worth the experience for 10 bucks
