I hope that the direction for this is better than Megaforce. A lot of people give the Megaforce actors shit, but the direction of the series is rubbish.

the only megaforce actor i dont like is troys actor. he is just too serious and lacks emotion most of the time. As for the Dino Charge cast, is it a stretch to picture the actor for HurricaneRed when looking at "DinoRed"'s actor?

I just watched the first episode.

Oh my... the story is different from the Kyouryuugers. I can only see Red and Pink transformed. It's a good thing they only have very few original Kyouryuuger footages.

Sadly, I agree. It is completely different. And that isn't for the better.

I honestly haven't given any of the Power Rangers series a chance in many, MANY years. This first episode is enough to absolutely guarantee that I will never, ever watch another Saban-made anything.
Looking at it as a stand alone work, it's crap. Comparing it to Kyouryuuger is pointless, it's just so awful.

But hey, I gave it an honest chance. That's something, I guess.

Honestly I cringed at the first episode and the lines the actors were given. It felt so fake....

But I think Ninja Storm is still my favorite Power Ranger series.

After Lothor, Mesogog, and other "american" villains, it's Sledge.

You know Chip Lynn and other staffs have created some "customized Sentai villains" like Sledge.

I've seen the latest episodes for Dino Charge and I still cringe at the writing. I know its for kids but still. Even Drive has a tad bit better writing than this.

No, we're two for now. The series isn't over yet. I wish they would adapt Green's girlfriend, just to see how they would do it and if she would be a recurring character.

I got only one complain for now and it is : "why do they feel the need to put so much break during the series?" They did that for Megaforce too and it kind of broke the pace (I don't know for Samurai since I tried to watch it after it was over and I didn't find streaming behond Super Samurai eps 6).

I have no clue what Saban "Inc" is doing with their power ranger shows. Its like they air their shows without finishing airing half the season first.

Actually, it's not Saban's fault on this. Nick actually set the contract up this way, but for why is anyone's guess. Power Rangers isn't something that can just take a quick break. It's a show with a continually flowing story line (even if that story line sucks ass (-Glares at Samurai and Megaforce-)). There has to be something to fill that gap. Disney, at least, knew what they were doing with the property, and played the older seasons in between breaks so that fans had something to sate themselves with, plus it also added in a niche market for past season toys.

Aye, i have a seething hatred for these multi-month hiatuses. whats worse is that this time around the hiatus hit before the mid point of the "season" and in the middle of a two parter. Are they airing older eps during the break or are they just cycling thru the first eight episodes?
