A review of the worst Power Ranger knockoff ever
Since we have many tokusatsu fans here, I thought this would be a good place to post this. I've been doing a web series reviewing the shows I remember from childhood, be it fondly or haunting my nightmares, in the same vein as the Nostalgia Critic. This, however, may be the worst I remember, and it's the cheapest knockoff of Power Rangers possible. I give you Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills

I now want to kill who thought making TTAF was a good idea. Even JUSTIN, from Turbo, acted better than the entire cast of that show did, and I bet he could take them on alone to. What a pointles ripoff.

To be honest Justin was probably the smartest ranger of the cast I think people just bag on him out jealousy of living out their childhood dream of being a ranger. I'm sure we were all envious of that back in the day.Leonite Rider wrote:I now want to kill who thought making TTAF was a good idea. Being honest, I just used Justin as an example most people would get. I don't mind the kid, he ended up being a good addition.

Heh heh. I remember a post I made to the Power Rangers Newsgroup back when this was on. It was a discussion of if Saban should try to make a PR without Sentai footage, to which I brought up the Tattooed Teens.
To be fair, given the budget and all, it wasn't that bad....just incredibly cheesy.

I remember this used to air alongside Super Human Samurai Cybersquad. I liked both as a child, maybe the Toku fan in me lol.

I think it was more "He replaced Rocky!" for me. I hated the replacement Turbo kids for the same reason.Leonite Rider wrote:Being honest, I just used Justin as an example most people would get. I don't mind the kid, he ended up being a good addition.

They made Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, and that was pretty good.Kamen Rider Raven wrote:Heh heh. I remember a post I made to the Power Rangers Newsgroup back when this was on. It was a discussion of if Saban should try to make a PR without Sentai footage, to which I brought up the Tattooed Teens.

I did enjoy that. Maybe I'm a sucker for transforming heroes.

Re: A review of the worst Power Ranger knockoff ever
ttaf sucked royal, mystic knights was ok, but if you want to talk about bad pr spin-offs lets not forget (as much as I'd like to) the hatchet job done to kamen rider black rx to make it masked rider. masked rider was the KING of all bad spin-offs.
Re: A review of the worst Power Ranger knockoff ever
zaido FTW... but it isnt power rangers to begin with

Haha, I remember this show. I only ever saw a few episodes, but I liked what I saw. I remember my mother didn't want me watching it for some reason.
