I finished Kiva on Saturday and then saw the movie yesterday. Since I did not see the original version this was my basis. I very much enjoyed this movie as it was so far into the series that it did not seem too far away. There were a few things that confused me, but overall I think it was a great movie that made me laugh a few times. Like when I they copied the beginning of the bath scene from the movie and put it right into the show, or vice versa not exactly sure but it was funny hearing "This is actually the first time" again, I was like in the twilight zone. Good Movie.

good movie. extra cut where great. was it just me but when i was watching it it seemed like everyone was wispering. the music/sound effects where high,but vocal was low? i know its a subbed movie but....

Finally got around to watching this, and I found the movie quite enjoyable. Didn't see the theatrical version seeing the DC advanced the story better (and by the look even the characters).

It was cool to see the Den-O actors (voice) to be apart of it as well and NAOMI as a police officer, and the suit actors play also normal roles (police officers, guard).

And yes the defense! defense! defense! by Kivat was to die for, but it made me also think "damn, Otoya's butt must be small if it can be hidden by a bat".

otherwise, the movie was very entertaining

Thanks for the subs, just finished watching the movie. I actually like the movie better than the TV series, I think the story flow is much smoother.

But then all the camos keep distrubing me. I guess by now everyone knows about the suit actors and Den-O cameos in the movie. These are the ones I found:

Also, I find the references to Majora Mask quite amusing (the moon falling and all that), as I think the "glass" markings on the Fangire face is actually quite similar to the mask.

Dumb question: why is the new HD version encoded at 29.97fps? Since this was a theatrical movie, wouldn't the source material all be 23.976fps?
