Kamen Rider Kiva 01 HD/DVD Released
The chains of fate bring us this two tale rider show, Kiva strode to break new ground by having two stories running at the same time but both linked together by fate, we have one story based in 1986 and the other in 2008, certainly was an interesting concept to watch.
So we have the HD for the eager fans and DVD for the SD fans, talk about service.
Two tales are started
Two different casts for the two tales with overlapping characters
A Vampiric rider
A talking flying bat
A cry of wake up
The sky going dark
Enjoy the rendition of Kiva for the new ages and celebrate the 7th Anniversary with us some more.

Again, got to catch up with this series again but Kiva is definately a different beast from Den-O/Decade/Double (lots of "D" Riders it seems as well)
The "2 storylines" did tend to confuse me at times, which is why I'm so glad for the different type-setting and effects that both TV-Nihon and Toei (it is Toei, correct?) did to show the differences between 2008 and 1986.

I think the "Who are you, bitch!" line was what got me into watching Kiva. Thanks for the DL.

The fist episode was good & the series provided some interesting idea's such as the dual timeline, it's just too bad that the series was marred by bad writing and jumping on the Den-O bandwagon.

i'm a little confused here, i read that geki was a 1 episode only but what about den-o and kiva, are these just 1 episode shots or will both shows be redone in high def.
Anyone remember when the news didn't want to make you punch the nearest thing to you, me neither.

Erm, I hope I do not start off a weird series of events by asking this, but... What Den-O bandwagon?Battra wrote:The fist episode was good & the series provided some interesting idea's such as the dual timeline, it's just too bad that the series was marred by bad writing and jumping on the Den-O bandwagon.

I guess he means "goin back in time without makin any sense". Indeed, at least one of the time trips was bad. Like, really bad.
Another thing: I see people sayin Shotaro from Double is like Otoya, but worst. What do you think? There's a resemblance?

But it only happened two times. And one of them was rather plot-important. I think the other just existed to establish that time travel is possible or something.

Eh, I know. But I've seen lot of people being bothered by this. But maybe OP meant something else, who knows...Dengar wrote:But it only happened two times. And one of them was rather plot-important. I think the other just existed to establish that time travel is possible or something.

The first word of each episode's title uses musical notation separated with its actual title phrases.
